Trent C. Jaeger grew up in Faribault, Minnesota, and graduated from Faribault Senior High School, with honors. During his high school academic career, Mr. Jaeger was honored with a National Merit Scholarship. Upon his high school graduation, Mr. Jaeger attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was selected to participate in the Aquinas Scholars Program, of which he became an officer in 1994. Mr. Jaeger graduated from St. Thomas, also with honors, in 1995.

He then attended the University of Minnesota Law School, ranked in the top 20 law schools in the nation, from which he graduated in 1998. During law school, Mr. Jaeger clerked at Meagher & Geer, PLLP, one of the largest law firms in Minnesota. Mr. Jaeger entered private practice in 1999, after clerking for the Honorable Thomas P. McCarthy in Minnesota’s First Judicial District. Mr. Jaeger’s first position in private practice was with William “Flash” Flaskamp, one of the preeminent trial attorneys in Minnesota’s history. He continued his training in litigation at the law firm of Zappia, LeVahn & Heuer, LTD, and later at Walsh & Gaertner, P.A., where he began to focus on more transactional and business oriented aspects of the legal field.

Trent C. Jaeger is a two-time Minnesota Law & Politics Rising Star, having been having been so named by that magazine in both 2003 and 2004.

Mr. Jaeger’s practice focuses on business law, intellectual property and other general legal matters on a case by case basis. Mr. Jaeger’s clients represent a broad variety of industries including advertising, construction, film and the arts, agriculture, and technology.

Mr. Jaeger is dedicated to providing his clients a high level of personal service, with legal products to match. Mr. Jaeger also has extensive experience working with minority individuals on a wide variety of legal issues.
